Voices of Theory

Voices of Theory was an R&B group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
==History==
Voices of Theory was founded in the early 1990s by five Latino youths from North Philadelphia. Their first major exposure came when they were tapped to open for Mariah Carey for 12 nights of her 1993 tour.〔(Biography ), Allmusic.com〕 Later that year, they contributed a cover of "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" for the soundtrack of the film ''Calendar Girl''. After the murder of their manager, Melvin Wallace,〔 the group momentarily found themselves without direction, but in 1997, they signed with Jellybean Benitez's H.O.L.A label, where they released their only album, a self-titled effort, in 1998. Their single, "Say It", was released on April 21, 1998.
